Project Overview

Glen/Mar is constructing a new water control facility at Mud Mountain Dam, a large earthen and rockfill dam, to improve collection and conveyance of Lower Cascade Creek flows and protect the dam's embankment and abutment.

The project includes new reinforced-concrete intake and outfall structures with debris-control systems, along with 54-inch and 72-inch steel discharge piping installed primarily above grade along the dam's steep upstream slope. Additional work includes demolition, structural steel, pipe supports and piles, soil anchors, retaining walls, slope stabilization, earthwork, riprap, road improvements, and diversion and control of water.

Emergency Response - December 2025. Following unprecedented rainfall that caused flooding, erosion and landslides at Mud Mountain Dam, USACE requested Glen/Mar provide emergency reconstitution support, including around-the-clock personnel and equipment for flood and landslide cleanup.
